Hello Everyone,
As part of our Rainbow infrastructure improvement plan, a technical maintenance operation will be carried out on Saturday, August 1, 2026, between 21:00 and 00:00 CEST.
This operation represents a major milestone in the completion of the 3AZ deployment and is intended to further enhance the resilience and availability of Rainbow services.
During this maintenance window, infrastructure updates, including DNS configuration changes, will be performed to redirect traffic to the new 3AZ infrastructure.
Expected Impact
No service interruption is currently expected as a result of this maintenance activity. However, customers whose environments are not aligned with the current Rainbow technical requirements may experience connectivity issues following the infrastructure update.
To help ensure continued access to Rainbow services, customers are requested to review the following items where applicable.
Important Actions Points for Business PartnersTo ensure best possible efficiency of the ALE’s actions plan, it is essential that business partners review and monitor the following items where applicable:
Firewall Configuration
End-Customers who restrict network access through firewall rules based on Rainbow IP addresses must have the latest Rainbow Network Requirements implemented within their security policies.
All required Rainbow traffic flows should be permitted in accordance with the published requirements and should not be restricted solely to specific countries or geographic regions.
Rainbow Network Requirements:

PBX Configuration
Business Partners must review End-Customers PBX’s configuration and ensure that any Rainbow-related static IP address settings are replaced with the supported FQDN:
The use of the supported FQDN aligns with Rainbow architecture recommendations and is key for compatibility with current and future infrastructure changes.
Important Information
Customers and partners are responsible for ensuring that their local network, security, and PBX configurations comply with the published Rainbow technical requirements.
Where the published prerequisites have not been implemented, service accessibility may be affected following the infrastructure update, and ALE's ability to diagnose or remediate resulting connectivity issues may be limited until the required configurations have been applied.
Best regards,
Rainbow Customer Care
